Queens Hospital main entrance is open from 5.30pm until 9pm, although exiting via the main entrance is allowed as late as 10pm.
If you are going to either the Haemotology, Maternity or Oncology centres then these have their own entrances at the hospital.

Getting to Queens Hospital By Train

Get the train to Romford Station and Queens Hospital is either a 5 minute walk or there is a bus that runs directly to Queens Hospital from Romford Station (see bus route numbers above).

Patients and visitors can park either in the car park to the front of the hospital building or in the multi-storey car park (ground floor & first floor for patients and visitors)

Parking Concessions

If you are staying as a patient at the hospital for a period of time then discounts or free parking is available dependent on the length of your stay.

Parking is free for the first week for in-patients but talk to the Matron or Senior Sister at the hospital to discuss and arrange parking concessions.

Parking Conessions for Visitors

If, sadly, you are called in to the hospital as next of kin in an emergency where death of the patient is expected then you will not be charged for parking.

If you are visiting a relative in Intensive Care or High Dependency Unit, then you will not be charged for parking for the first 5 days. If the period extends 5 days then speak to the Matron or Senior Sister for parking extension.

Parents of next of kin who are visiting a patient in either the Special care baby unit, neonatal intensive care unit or Tropical Lagoon Ward will not be charged for parking for the first five days.

If you are next of kin or a designated birthing partner visiting a patient in labour, then you can park for free for up to two days.

It is possible to receive a discount or even free parking if you are not included in the above rules for concessions, contact the Matron or Senior Sister of the relevant ward to find out if this is possible for you.
