Romford Christmas Light Switch on

X-Factor contestants 2 Shoes and  the BBC's ZingZillas will headline a fun night of family entertainment at this year’s Christmas lights switch-on in Romford Market Place on Thursday 17 November from     4.30 p.m.

Entertainment on the night will also be from local dancers Krypic Fusion Dance Crew, five piece girl group from Essex called Lexii, performers from the Queen’s Theatre pantomime Cinderella. Plus a visit from Father Christmas, Rudolph and his helpers Pip and Pop.

4.40             Kryptic Fusion Dance perform
5.00             Fans of the girl group 2 Shoes can look forward to another fun and exciting performance after they played to a national audience on the X-Factor earlier this year.
5.15             Lexii Perform - After all auditioning as solo artists, Lexii are a newly formed girlband that were put together by the judges during the Boot Camp stages of the EsseX Factor 2011. Going on to win the consest.
5.30             Popular children’s characters the ZingZillas Zak, Tang, Drum and Panzee from the CBeebies television show will be appearing at intervals throughout the evening to share their special brand of music with the crowds on the night.
5.50             Queens Theatres Cinderella cast perform
6.00             Santa Magical showtime
6.20             Switch on countdown where The ZingZillas and 2 Shoes will help the Leader of Havering Council, Councillor Michael White turn on the Christmas Lights
6.30             Fireworks – Church Bells
   
Around 6,000 people are expected to come to the free event,which will be held in the marketplace. So come and join in this magical experience.
